This 6 weeks pre-registered series if perfect for Beginner's. It will help build a solid foundation and give you the support needed to participate in a variety of Pilates classes.

Kelly, our Pilates Instructor will teach you how to focus on thoracic breathing to help you engage in a breath-sequenced, mind-body exercise discipline, which

will support you in all daily postures and activities.
You will be instructed on the steps to engaging your deep, invisible core muscles, which provide Stability, Strength and Support throughout your Pilates movements.

Week by week, you will be taken through a series of warm-ups and basic Pilates exercises that will encourage you to link your breath with your movement and begin a practice that will help you understand and listen to your body.

Do you want to experience yoga, but require some assistance with stability?

If this is the case, join our Chair Yoga Series, held every Saturday morning at 9:30 am.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or standing, using the chair as support.

These fun classes incorporate breathing techniques and movement. They are designed to improve strength, flexibility & posture, while gaining improved balance all from the safety of a chair.

This form of practice, often referred to as ‘accessible yoga’ is designed for EVERY BODY.

This class will enable you to:

· Strengthen your body and improve your level of activity, and in some instances, prevent potential falls or injuries.

· Gain an improved level of flexibility, which will assist you to undertake activities that perhaps you have been unable to perform.

· Reach a better understanding of where your body is in space and an improved coordination of movement, which also assists in preventing falls.

· By focusing and paying attention to your breath, you are in a better position to ground and calm yourself and this helps your body and mind to better cope with daily stress.

· Being calmer and more relaxed inevitably leads to a greater feeling of contentment and well-being, which everyone can benefit from!

Expect to laugh and feel renewed energy, reduced stress, and gain a calm sense of well-being!

Join us for an evening of yoga to help relax, unwind and empower your body. When we empower the goddess within, we are given the space to be the best version of our self. From self love and acceptance, learning how to shut down our negative inner voice and to reconnect with our inner goddess to push us out of our comfort zone, create a vision and stop sabotaging who we are meant to be by design.

The 6 week Beginner yoga series is a great way for you to explore the foundations of asana (posture), breath work and meditation in a relaxed, supportive environment and deepen your practice.

It will allow you to gain a great understanding by tapping into the philosophies in which yoga was built on.

This series is suitable for complete beginners or those restarting after a break.

In this series you will learn the foundations of yogic philosophy, how to practice and the building blocks of practice and by the end of the course an understanding of what yoga is all about, the different expressions of practice and foundations to build upon will be achieved.

You will have the ability to join group classes with confidence and build a life-long personal practice.

Practicing Prenatal Yoga can be a powerful tool to prepare for labour and the months of parenthood that follow.

Research suggests that Prenatal Yoga has many benefits, such as

  • Improved sleep

  • Reduced stress and Anxiety

  • Increased strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth

Over the next six weeks we will use both, yoga postures and the practice of meditation to strengthen and relax your changing body. We will explore different breath and focus techniques that support birthing and learn how to modify your practice for before and after your babies arrival.

Each session ends with a well deserved relaxation and ya appropriate for new & experienced yoga students.

Prenatal class is an excellent way to meet and bond with other pregnant women who are all preparing for the challenges of parenthood.

The intention is to help you to feel excited, empowered and comfortable with your changing body and help you feel more connected to your growing baby.
