This 4 week series is ideal for someone new to Pilates or looking to expand on basic Pilates moves. After completing this series you will feel confident to explore other Pilates classes.


The 6 weeks Beginner yoga series is a great way for you to explore the foundations of asana (posture), breath work and meditation in a relaxed, supportive environment and deepen your practice.

This series is suitable for beginners or those looking to return to yoga.

During this series you will learn the foundations of yogic philosophy, how to practice and the building blocks of a yoga practice.

By the end of the series, you will have a better understanding of what yoga is all about, the difference expressions of practice and foundations to build upon. You will have the ability to join group classes with confidence and build a life-long personal practice.

Date: Saturday, August 19 from 10-5:30pm

Location: Petawawa Civic Centre

Cost: $100+hst ($80+hst - Early Bird Price until June 5, 2023)

Price includes a full day of classes, information/demo sessions, t-shirt, event swag & catered dinner.

10-10:15am: Opening Remarks/First Door Prize announced

10:15-10:30am: Warm Up Stretch (Sarah/Mel)

10:30-11:30am: Power Flow (Meg - White Pine Yoga)

11:30-12:30pm: Yin/Yang (Bre)

12:30-1pm: Lunch Break (Second Door Prize)

1-2pm: Hatha (Mel/Sarah)

2-3pm: Yogaliates (Kelly/Sarah)

3-3:30pm:Info Session with VC Athletic Therapy

3:30-4:15pm: Flower Demo by Fleurish Floral Designs

4:30-5:30pm: Restorative Yoga (Mel) with the live music)

- Dinner to follow at the Kinhut featuring live music

Please note: This will take place outdoors, please dress accordingly - please bring your own lunch, water and mat.
